 I think I know where this picture was taken, but I am not sure. For those of you old enough to remember the show The Waltons ('goodnight, John Boy'), the valley in the distance is the Rockfish River. We can pretend that the mountain the distance is Walton's Mountain! If such a place was real, that is just about where it would have been. Anyway, the point of this picture is that I am off on Wednesday for Tennessee and the Blue Ridge around the Smoky Mountains. Unfortunately, I don't see a trip to the Smokies on this trip -- maybe the next one though. At any rate, Scanning My Life will be on hiatus until at least July 19, and perhaps a bit longer I don't have much ready for posting right now and simply don't have time to do any before I leave. Keep an eye on this spot however, because I may be able to swoop in for a surprise post.
