 This was a handheld shot taken from my ninth floor hotel room on my way out of Egypt in the Spring of 1979. The image is a bit shaky because I did not have a tripod with me so this was handheld, possibly stabilized against the window frame. You may notice a bunch of signs and posts in this picture on the circle. This picture was taken a few days after Egypt and Israel signed a Peace Treaty (March 26, 1979) and most public places had some banner or flags celebrating the treaty.
