![]() This appears to be a true 'light house,' that is, a house with a light on it. This light has served the navigation purposes of the Hudson River since the mid-1800's and, as I understand it, is still in use to this day. It is located at the point where the Esopus Creek empties into the Hudson near the town of Saugerties. | |
