 For anyone who gets around NYC a bit, you are almost sure to have encountered Louis Mendes. I heard of him last Spring when Valerie (Your Waitress) was visiting the city and she ran into him in front of B&H Camera. Since then, I've encountered other bloggers who have bumped into him. Louis is a well renown street photographer who has made quite a rep for himself shooting intentional double exposures of folks all over the city. I was excited to see him leaning against the counter as I entered the Photo Expo on Saturday. I introduced myself and Nick from the the Photo Center in Troy. Then I mentioned Valerie and he distinctly remembered her from their encounter outside B&H. | |
