 I have been aware of the Poestenkill Gorge that cuts through part of the city of Troy New York for many years, but had never taken the time to investigate it. Today I went out and tried to find my down into it. I did get down near the base of this frozen waterfall, but the large part of the gorge is virtually inaccessible. It is quite an impressive set of falls that I will get back to in other seasons, when traversing the ground may be easier. | |
