EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D \| 1/80 sec \| f 9.0 \| 70.0mm (35mm equivalent: 105.0mm) \| ISO 100 From my trip to Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. When I last posted a picture of these prickly pears someone asked if I ate one. I was unaware they were edible. Since then I have found them iun my local market at something like $2 EACH! And there must have been 200 of them on this one cactus! No, I did not buy one. But if someone sends me a recipe on how to use them, I might.

I shoot mostly digital but do still pop a roll of film from time to time. I process my own B&W film (120 and 35mm) which I am scanning with an Epson Perfection 3170 scanner.
