 The air outside today smelled of fire. Funny how I had not noticed it earlier, but today the scent of charred wood seems to have settled onto this section of town. This led me back to the scene where I discovered that they have already begun the clean up process. The buildings are largely knocked down. There are piles of scrap metal being formed for salvage. I suppose it was the activity of the cleanup which sent to fire odor across the town. | |
